About The Skills Fest

The Skills Fest is event management software for youth organizations, clubs, and camps. It plans and runs events built around classes, sessions, or activities — honors festivals, camporees, merit-badge days, skills clinics, day camps, and recitals — with class schedules that enforce room and teacher capacity, fair waitlists with automatic promotion, family self-registration without email addresses, day-of check-in, attendance and completion tracking, and reports that export to CSV and PDF. Each organization gets a private, isolated workspace and renames everything to match its own tradition.

Why does this exist?

Every youth organization we know runs events the same way: a heroic volunteer, a spreadsheet, a stack of paper forms, and a long night before event day. The schedule says the room holds twenty; the signup sheet collected thirty-one. The Skills Fest exists to make the rules — capacity, waitlists, levels, conflicts — something the software enforces, so the volunteer gets their evening back.

What do we believe?

• Your words, not ours. A Pathfinder club, a Scouts BSA troop, a 4-H club, and a homeschool co-op should never have to adopt someone else's vocabulary. Every label in the app is configurable.
• Families shouldn't need email addresses. A signup code and a username is enough. Kids don't have inboxes and parents share them.
• Privacy by isolation. Every organization is a separate workspace. Your members and events are never visible to anyone else.
• Honest limits. A full class is full — the waitlist promotes fairly instead of the room quietly overfilling. The same honesty applies to our marketing: if the product doesn't do something, we say so.
• Flat, predictable pricing. Priced by active participants, never per seat, with a free plan that is actually usable.

What is it, concretely?

A web app where you set up your organization from a starter template (or a blank one), build events as rooms-by-timeslots schedules, open family self-registration with signup codes, and run event day with check-in, attendance, and exportable reports.
