Check-in numbers, live counts, and background-check flags at the door — then attendance and completion in two clicks per class.
The Skills Fest runs event day from a check-in list: every participant has a check-in number, volunteers mark arrivals and watch live counts, and background-check flags are visible where staffing decisions happen. During sessions, teachers track attendance and completion with bulk actions — mark all attended, all completed, or clear — and completion automatically implies attendance.
When the day ends, attendance summaries and per-class results are already assembled — exportable to CSV or PDF instead of reconstructed from memory.
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| A family arrives | Check-in by number; live counts update |
| A helper needs vetting status | Background-check flags show on staff views |
| A class wraps up | “All completed” in one click — attendance implied |
| A participant left early | Clear or adjust their individual marks |
| The event ends | Attendance summary ready to export as CSV/PDF |
No. Check-in runs in the browser on whatever laptop, tablet, or phone your volunteers have.
