From Puggles to Journey — schedule award sessions and game rotations, register clubbers without email, and run the night smoothly.
The Skills Fest schedules Awana events around award sessions and activity rotations: set timeslots and rooms, drag sessions onto a visual grid, and let clubs register clubbers with a signup code — no family email addresses required. Capacity and fair waitlists are automatic, and directors get check-in numbers, attendance tracking, and printable rosters.
The Awana-style template pre-fills Clubs, Club Directors, Leaders, Awards, and Club Levels from Puggles to Journey, so screens read the way your ministry already speaks.
Every label is configurable — the starter template pre-fills the words below, and they appear everywhere: menus, buttons, and reports.
| Concept | Default | Your words |
|---|---|---|
| Small groups | Units | Clubs |
| Participants | Participants | Clubbers |
| Group leaders | Unit Leader | Club Director |
| Teachers | Teacher | Leader |
| Awards / classes | Courses | Awards |
| Levels / ranks | Level | Club Level |
Rename the small groups (Club/Troop/Pack), the awards (Honor/Merit Badge/Adventure), the participants, the leaders, and the levels or ranks — the whole app speaks your organization’s language, starting from one of ~12 templates or a blank slate.
A rooms-by-timeslots board. Drag classes between rooms and times; room capacity and a max-classes-per-room limit are enforced as you go.
A class’s capacity is the smaller of the room’s capacity and the teacher’s limit. Full classes take a waitlist with automatic, fair promotion when a spot opens. Multi-session classes, minimum-level requirements, secondary teachers, duplicating a class into other timeslots, and a “manage students” roster with add/remove and schedule-conflict handling are built in.
Leaders share a signup code; kids create an account with just a username and password. Staff and leaders can use email magic links when email is enabled, but it is never required.
Check-in numbers, live counts, and background-check flags for the door on event day.
Registration grids, unit summaries, attendance summaries, printable timeslot rosters, background-check lists, and member exports — sortable and searchable in the browser, downloadable as CSV or PDF.
Yes. Each club registers and manages its own clubbers while your event holds the shared schedule, rooms, check-in, and reports.
