The Skills Fest runs merit badge days and camporees: build timeslots and rooms, place merit badge classes on a drag-and-drop grid, and let each troop register its Scouts with a signup code — no email addresses needed for youth. Class capacity is the smaller of the room and the counselor’s limit, waitlists promote automatically, and staff export timeslot rosters and attendance summaries as CSV or PDF.
The Scouts BSA-style template speaks your language out of the box — Troops, Scoutmasters, Merit Badge Counselors, Merit Badges, and Ranks from Scout to Eagle — and any class can require a minimum rank.

What you get
Configurable terminology
Rename the small groups (Club/Troop/Pack), the awards (Honor/Merit Badge/Adventure), the participants, the leaders, and the levels or ranks — the whole app speaks your organization’s language, starting from one of ~12 templates or a blank slate.
Drag-and-drop schedule grid
A rooms-by-timeslots board. Drag classes between rooms and times; room capacity and a max-classes-per-room limit are enforced as you go.
Class capacity & fair waitlists
A class’s capacity is the smaller of the room’s capacity and the teacher’s limit. Full classes take a waitlist with automatic, fair promotion when a spot opens. Multi-session classes, minimum-level requirements, secondary teachers, duplicating a class into other timeslots, and a “manage students” roster with add/remove and schedule-conflict handling are built in.
Family self-registration — no email required
Leaders share a signup code; kids create an account with just a username and password. Staff and leaders can use email magic links when email is enabled, but it is never required.
Day-of check-in
Check-in numbers, live counts, and background-check flags for the door on event day.
Reports & exports
Registration grids, unit summaries, attendance summaries, printable timeslot rosters, background-check lists, and member exports — sortable and searchable in the browser, downloadable as CSV or PDF.

Yes. Each troop registers through its own signup code or invite link, manages only its own Scouts, and your event holds the master schedule, check-in, and reports.
